Fleet Solutions(continue...page2)

At the heart of the range is the SiteOmat home base station automation software, which runs on an embedded operating system on the OrCU (OMA PS Controller Unit) – an embedded platform designed to survive the harsh gas station environment. SiteOmat uses a solid state FLASH disk and battery back up protection, along with surge suppressors for transient and noise immunity.  There are no edge connectors and no hard disk (no moving parts), and the system also includes power fail recovery mechanisms.
SiteOmat electronically locks all dispensers and pumps thereby ensuring that only appropriately authorized vehicles and plants receive the required fuel and lubricants. The system also ensures accurate recording of each transaction.

Remote secured Web-based capabilities for monitoring, management and maintenance are used either locally or remotely (secured). This can be done from any standard PC with Internet Browser (Explorer). There is no need for special management software; thanks to the built-in Web server technology, which is integrated into the SiteOmat station controller, a large variety of communication links is supported – both wired and wireless.

OMA PS’s innovative OMAFuel Vehicle Identification System (VIS) is embedded in all Home Base solutions and enables advanced fleet management capabilities, increased efficiency and reduced operating costs for fleets.

For centralized management there is the optional
Fleet Head Office server which consolidates the data from multiple sites and generates reports,, including exception reports. It also enables control of the limits and restrictions placed on the various fleet vehicles; authorized fleet personnel are able to log-in remotely and are always in control.

Control of a fleet’s fuel expenses can be maximized by defining limits (day, week, month), maximum number of refueling (day, week, month) and restrictions (days of the week, fuel type, stations, time intervals).
In cases of multiple site system configurations, centralized
Fleet Head Office needs to synchronize the data between all sites so that the limits can be applied to a whole system rather than an individual site. In case of communication failure, the specific site will be able to refuel for a predefined grace period (parameter) using the most recent limits stored in its database.

SiteOmat Controls and interfaces with the following forecourt devices:

FortCom infrastructure – OMA PS’s innovative Forecourt Communication based on TCP/IP Ethernet or Wireless and also RS-485, the system provides bridging between

  • Pumps – All known dispensers including mechanical dispensers
  • Outdoor Payment terminals – Contact less Tags, Keys, Cards
  • Outdoor Printer
  • Vehicle Identification Transceiver (VIT or uVIT) to support the FuelOmat VIU system
  • WGT (wireless gateway terminal) to support the new Wireless FuelOmat
  • Audit Journal Printer
  • Tank Level System
  • Attendant/Driver contact less Tag readers

  • Different communication links and also Secured Web remote capabilities for maintenance and diagnostics. A flexible business logic is provided to support several operation modes such as self service, attendant tags, vehicle identification and auto-authorized mode.

    *Fleet and fuel management software

    OMA PS’s two solutions are:

    1. Fleet Head Office server for Retail and Home-Base users
A centralized fleet management and authorization server for all fleet-oriented activity in a region (Multi fleets activity)
    2. Fuel management system - Centralized fuel management operation and report software

Fleet Head Office server for Retail and Home-Base users

The Fleet Head Office Server is a centralized fleet management and authorization server for all fleet-oriented activity in a region.
The system uploads all fleet-oriented data from the stations and generates centralized reports per fleet, including exception and efficiency performance.  Graphical reports are available to the fleet managers over a web interface.
Each fleet manager uses a secure link to log into the system to manage his fleet.

Main Fleet Head Office system features are:

    Centralized reporting per fleet
  • Secure web interface for fleet managers; every manager is able to manage his own fleet and does not have any access to other fleets
  • System administration is able to control the entire system, set up accounts, new fleets and vehicles
  • Advanced authorization model is available for the fleet manager over the web, including the following:
     -  Limit volume or money – day/week/month
     -  Limit number of refueling visits – day/week/month
     -  Restrict refueling to specific days in the week and specific times in each day
     -  Restrict refueling to gas stations
     -  Restrict according to the adequate fuel type of each vehicle
     -  Supports Positive (white) and Negative (black) lists.
  • The system works in both on-line and off-line modes, with all the authorization parameters mentioned above.  A grace period of time can be defined to limit the off-line a station can continue authorizing vehicles in off-line mode
  • The Fleet Head Office includes a fleet credit/debit account, which is updated by the bank or other entity performing clearing.  Minimum credit must be maintained for each fleet in order to enable refueling
  • All data is backed-up using Raid1 full mirroring on three hard drives – one is kept in a safe and is swapped on a daily basis
  • Export of data to other third-party systems
  • Interface to a card/VIU issuing system for producing the fleet payment devices after settling the fleet account and debit procedure for each card/vehicle to be included in the system

    Fuel Management System –
A centralized Web server application communicating with all sites to provide on-line access through the network for key personnel to manage fuel inventory, fuel alarms, recommended orders and deliveries.
An advanced application is available for the fuel manager over the web, and includes the following:

  • Status screen – displays updated status of all sites on one screen. Sites with alarms (low level, TLG leak detection, site is down, etc.) are displayed in red at the top of the list
  • Orders and deliveries – user can create suggested orders and connect them to deliveries
  • Fuel Inventory – updates data from each site according to latest TLG readings, pump readings and transactions
  • Reports and Export
  •
